Pertti Liljeroos Memorial Fund grants are open for applications since March 30. The purpose of the fund is to support students of the University of Tampere and Tampere Technical University, their welfare and ability to study by granting scholarships for related projects, events, studies and training. In 2012, a total of EUR 2,000 worth of grants will be issued: one grant of 1,000 euros, one of 500 and two of 250 euros. The memorial fund was founded in spring 2011 by the student unions of University of Tampere and Tampere Technical University in honour of Pertti Liljeroos, the long-time Managing Director of Juvenes. Both private operators and public communities have donated money to the memorial fund.

Grant recipients commit themselves to report on the use of the grant within two months of the end of the project, by August 1, 2013 at the latest. Grant recipients commit themselves to return the grant if the project is not carried out at all.
You may apply for the grant through this application form. Submit your application to the office of the Student Union of Tampere Technical University, or online to firstname.lastname@example.org. The deadline for applications is July 31, 2012 at 4 p.m.
