Development cooperation in Tamy

In Tamy, development cooperation is considered an important part of creating a better future. Activities in the Student Union's DC sector include Tamy's donation-funded India project and communicating and discussing current affairs.

Tamy's Committee for Development Cooperation considers and handles general topics in development cooperation and organizes events. It operates mainly in Finnish and is open to everyone. The DC sector's annual events include the Development Cooperation Week whose theme this year is development and consumption.

In Tamy, the people responsible for development cooperation affairs are the Secretary for International Affairs, the Executive Board member responsible for development cooperation affairs and the committee's chairs.
