Contact the Computer Centre at the University Main building to get your own e-mail account.

Once you have the e-mail address and know how to use the e-mail, send the following message: SUBSCRIBE is-list Your Name to the address This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it You will then receive a notification that you have been added to the mailing list. You can also join Tamy IS-list via internet.

As a subscriber, you will then receive all the messages sent to the list and you can send your own messages as well. The list is intended as an information list about courses, happenings etc. Commercial messages and personal messages are not allowed, and the list moderator makes sure that inappropriate and spam messages will not reach the list.

The main language of the list is English and there are approximately 800 is-list subscribers, both international and Finnish students.
