Student representatives in university administration are students who are appointed by the Student Union to bring the students' point of view and expertise to university administration. Student representatives are also known as hallopeds and they are nominated by the Student Union's Executive Board. Members of the University Collegiate Body and the University Board, however, are appointed by the Council of Representatives.
