Tamy
The Student Union Tamy consists of its members. All basic degree students will automatically become members of Tamy when they register as present for each academic year. All members are entitled to the services provided by the Student Union, and the Student Union also protects the rights of its members.
The Student Union's activities are determined by the Council of Representatives, which is the highest decision-making body in Tamy. Representative elections, where 40 representatives are elected, are held every other year.
The council's decisions are put into action by the Executive Board. This year, the Executive Board consists of seven members, including the chair. The chair is the Student Union's main representative and communicates with other student unions and student organizations. Additionally, all board members have their own spheres of responsibility.
The Executive Board supervises the work of secretaries, who are all responsible for their own special fields and take care of a variety of practical matters. Tamy's employees also include several office workers and the editors of the student newspaper Aviisi.
