All new students, both Finnish and international, are appointed with a fellow student who will help them integrate into the student life in Tampere. This service is called tutoring.
Your tutor can assist you with practical matters, such as opening a bank account, registering into the University and buying a travel card for the local buses. Each international student coming to the University of Tampere get their own tutor.
